This was the first walk on the Upper Thames and unlike last week's Spring-like weather it was dark, windy, drizzling and cold. We reached the most northerly point of the Thames just opposite Yarnton Mead
Ray climbed up onto the branches of a fallen tree
The wood was only just able to support his weight
The strong wind made the Thames look as though it was flowing at twice its normal speed
It was a day for headscarves
My cousin Katja came on the early part of the walk
Gary at the Trout Inn at Lower Wolvercote
After seven miles walk we reached Swinford Bridge at about half past two
